A gazillion years ago, I babysat regularly for twin boys. Their mother would dress them slightly different to tell them apart - one might wear blue/green stripes, the other blue/white stripes. But at a mere two yrs. of age, they figured out that they could switch "identities" and if you stepped out of the room for a moment they would switch shirts while you were gone. Thankfully, they couldn't quite keep up the act and their profuse giggling would eventually give them away!
